Eduardo gathered consistent expertise in the legal and business environment supported by a deep understanding of the technology, finance, automotive and retail sectors. He has represented and advised major national and international companies in a variety of projects in these areas.


Eduardo is a resourceful attorney capable of prevailing in cases of complexity. He has been involved, inter alia, in administrative, commercial, competition, construction, labour and public procurement cases before courts, arbitration tribunals and regulatory authorities.


Over the last years, Eduardo has extended his practice to corporate matters, contract drafting, due diligence reports, real-estate, FDI regime and regulatory and compliance work.


Additionally, Eduardo has developed a keen interest and a reliable practice in the new technology law. He gained a wealth of knowledge, particularly in the regulation of AI, big tech, e-commerce, digital markets, services and IP, e-signatures, smart contracts, data protection and fintech, while also pursuing a dedicated LLM to further develop this specialization.


Selected relevant experience


Assisting a major utility in connection with the acquisition of multiple renewable projects, as part of the team conducting extensive due diligence exercises and drafting and negotiating the transaction documents. 


Assisting a mining company holding the production license for the largest clay quarry in Europe in relation to all matters pertaining to its activity, including regulatory and permitting issues, as well as the securing of surface rights.


Assisted the largest Romanian motorway construction company in a series of disputes for defending against challenges to the award of public contracts filed by international claimants. 


Representing an energy company in challenging and suspending a Government Decision in the field of green certificates.


Assisting a major regional company before the Competition Council in drafting compliance manuals, defending against forensic investigation requests and successfully appealing for the annulment of a sanction imposed by the Competition Council.


Representing several software producer companies in relation to high-value administrative and commercial litigation cases.
