Elisa is part of the Suciu Popa team dealing with a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, with a particular focus on energy, natural resources, environmental matters and compliance.

She is also regularly involved in firm projects on consumer protection, data protection and regulatory related matters. 

In addition to her professional activities, Elisa has a particular interest in environmental law. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental Law at the University of Bucharest.

Advising Hunt Oil on the transfer of business for its Romanian gas exploration and production activity.

Assisting Romgaz in relation to the development phase of a major offshore project in the Black Sea.

Assisting Ford Otosan in relation to compliance matters for Craiova car manufacturing plant. 

Assisted a Romanian mining company on compliance matters, including past pollution liability and authorities’ controls.

Part of the team undertaking multiple due diligence exercises regarding real estate permitting, environmental & compliance issues for companies acting in the automotive, consumer goods, energy and natural resources industries.

Assisting a leading retail company on consumer protection and data protection matters, as well as the relevant contractual risks.
