Noemi is a remarkable professional who led a variety of projects with a special focus on mergers & acquisitions, corporate and commercial matters in specific industries including energy & natural resources, retail, real estate and technology. She gained a wealth of experience in regulatory and permitting related aspects of projects development, be they greenfield or brownfield, being also especially skilled in re-permitting and re-authorization of large scale industrial projects and production facilities.
Noemi is also a specialist in foreign direct investment (FDI) regulations and local authorities’ practices, where she handles extremely critical filing and clearance processes on behalf of groups and multinational corporations seeking to establish a presence in Romania or expand existing investment.
Selected relevant experience
Assisting a major Swiss utility in entering the Romanian market and building a country-wide battery storage system, including by securing the necessary FDI clearance from a national security perspective.
Leading the team assisting Econergy International Ltd. in its acquisition of several RES projects with a combined capacity of over 1.2 GW.
Leading the team assisting a global energy and engineering group in acquiring a PV renewables production project totaling over 100 MW.
Assisting a Spanish real estate group in relation to the sale of a 20,000 sqm. land in one of Bucharest’s fastest growing areas to a real estate developer.
Assisting a US-based group in applying for and securing a 5G license.
Assisting a major utility, part of a listed Greek group of companies acting in the energy sector, in the acquisition and development of several renewable energy production projects totaling over 1.5 GW of electricity.
Leading the team advising a major Portuguese utility in acquiring an operational PV project, including by leading due diligence, transaction documents review & negotiation and securing the relevant clearances and fulfillment of other relevant conditions precedent.
Leading the team in charge with applying for and obtaining the full ambit of licenses and permits for an electricity and gas trader from the Romanian regulatory authorities.
